Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to my favorite Daddy in the world.
Thanks for still holding my hand while I sleep even after I kick you in the face repeatedly. I promise I will adjust to this new rental soon.
Thanks for giving me an extra try before putting me in time-outs for man-handling the dog.
Thanks for always sharing your pizza and mac and cheese when Mommy is too selfish to share. And thanks for always slipping me some extra chocolate chips when Mommy isn't paying attention.
And a shout out to my other other favorite Daddies on Father's Day...Pa and Papa G. Pa, you are my snacking buddy and always have the best YouTube videos to show me.
Papa G, you are always up for a good play session and, much to Mommy's dismay, try to keep me entertained in my time-outs. Love you all!

It's So Hard to Say Goodbye
So much has happened. I'm not sure where to begin. I *may* have complicated the moving process a bit. Leland and I got a hold of the bubble wrap roll and made a race track around the first floor. Mommy was less than pleased but we had fun! In addition to this shenanigan, here's a run down of my other missteps the past few weeks:
- I hid all three mailbox keys after taking them off the counter when Mommy was cooking the other day. After she spent 5 hours looking in all my favorite hiding places, going through each piece of trash and recycling accumulated the past week, unpacking packed boxes and generally going crazy, I played a little game with her. When she asked me for the 30th time where the keys were, I started yelling the word, "keys", ran downstairs straight to my bookshelf, pulled out a book, turned to the right page and promptly pointed to the picture of keys, which coincidentally look exactly like our mailbox keys. Then I just went back to playing. Kind of a jerky thing to do... in the end, we did the walk of shame into the post office and explained what had happened. She found them the next week where I had tucked them under the stove.
- I hid the garage door opener to the old house the night before closing.
- I hid Mommy's car keys on moving day. Luckily she has a spare set but if you know my Mommy, one set of keys for her is a scary thought. She's a little scatter-brained these days.
- I started hurdling over the side of my time-outs in the pack and play and threatening to jump from my crib.
Mommy, or Sally as I now call her, has been trying to burn my energy to keep me out of trouble. I have had lots of playdates with my buddy Brandon before his little sister arrives. Here I am experiencing the trampoline for the first time. All the balls were a bit much for my OCD. I may have freaked out a bit about how to get them out of there.
I have also been dabbling in a little weight lifting to pass the boredom as Mommy and Daddy pack. My form isn't so good but I am up to 6 pounds and not even breaking a sweat.
Since my new room isn't quite set up yet, I have been bunking with Mommy and Daddy. They are thrilled because 1) I haven't been going to sleep til 10:30 each night so I am in an awesome mood and 2) I am an awesome bed partner as this picture demonstrates. (Yes I am sleeping sideways at the top of the bed. Like I said, they love sleeping with me.)
These past few weeks have been exhausting and bittersweet. We spent our last night celebrating Mommy and Daddy's Anniversary with a picnic dinner at the house. It made me sad to see the house empty. I cried a lot so it was a short visit. In between tantrums, they were able to capture one last picture of us at the house. Adios house! I miss you already!
