Twelve Weeks

Well I this week I am feeling better after my second bout with gastroenteritis.  Here I am recovering.  Mommy tried to dress me up like Auntie Darcy. Maybe I will be a doctor like her one day!

I was lucky to get some good snuggle time in with Mimi and Pa once they got back from Estes Park. Here I am with my napping buddy, Pa.

Here I am with Mimi.  I love grandparent time even if you can't see it.  I am starting to get fascinated by technology...phones, cameras, tvs, so please excuse my lack of smiles in some of these pictures.

Grandma and Grandpa Groesbeck came to visit.  I had fun snuggling with them too. I am so lucky to have four grandparents that I get to see lots! Here I am getting ready to watch the KState game with Daddy and Grandpa.  We are all sporting our KState attire.

Here's a close-up of the game-watching outfit Uncle Raleigh and Jessica gave me.  I love it and it must have brought the Cats some luck because they won!

Here I am on the first cool day of fall. This is my first pair of jeans. I think I look pretty dapper!

Eleven Weeks

It was a busy week of recovering from my gastroenteritis.  I slept lots. Here I am after I fell asleep reading my pediatric manual. Ok I may not know how to read that well... Mommy and Daddy just like to mess with me while I am sleeping...

Here I am saying hi to Daddy while he is at work. We try to send him something every day and mom thought this was particularly good because I look like I am mouthing the word hi as I wave. I am a smart boy!

While I was recovering, Dad thought it would be good to learn how to draw with the iPad. I prefer using my feet.  Drawing with your hands is so last year...

Here I am just looking cute.  Look how big I am getting!

Tummy time isn't so miserable now because I am getting a bit stronger...and I found a way out of it. Check it out: PS Mommy says you can ignore her annoying voice in this video!

I can roll over! And guess what else I learned how to do:

For several days, I kept jingling my Mortimer when Mommy and Daddy weren't looking.  I would make him ring and then lay absolutely still when they came to see what the noise was. It was a great little ruse while it lasted.  After a sneak attack, Daddy finally caught me.  The jig is up, I can use my hands to hit things.

It is finally getting cool enough for me to be outside so here I am getting ready to take Leland on a walk.  I love fall!

Ten Weeks

So this week was a bit rough.  While I fared better than my poor cousin Evan who got bronchiolitis, the triplets who got nasty colds and cousin Cooper who had eye surgery, it still wasn't awesome for me. I got my two month shots on Tuesday and this picture pretty much sums up how I have felt all week.  I started getting sick after Tuesday and was pretty inconsolable all weekend. Poor Mommy and Daddy! Not much relaxing was done at the Groesbeck household this week.

I did a whole lot of this during the day...which is definitely abnormal for me.

Mom made me smile a couple times this week but for the most part, I have been pretty unhappy.

This was what Mommy came home to after after Daddy was supposed to entertain me while Mommy ran to the store.  Daddy thought loading rattles on my arms and surrounding me with toys qualified as entertainment.  I am not too impressed as you can see...

This afternoon Mommy is taking me back to the doctor and I am hoping to bring this smile back full time.  PS I know I have a lot of football outfits but 'tis the season.  I am ready for some Monday night football.

Two Months

I have been very busy the past few weeks.  Here I am learning how to read, I have a ways to go.

What's up people? I am two months old! Mom tried to take a lot of pictures of me but I just wanted to play it cool and flash signs.
She did capture this one of me and Croc that's pretty good. As you can see, I like to stick my tongue out when I smile.

Here I am very tuckered out after my two month appointment. I am definitely a growing boy. I was 10 pounds 12 ounces (25th percentile) and 23 1/4 inches (65th percentile), and 15 inches head circumference (55th percentile).

I took my first road trip to see Auntie Kelly and Uncle Andy and the triplets in Texas for the triplet's first birthday and baptism.  I slept the whole way down there.

We made a lunch stop at Braum's and I was really excited to try their milkshakes. It was YUMMY.

Here I am playing with Claire and Grayson.

And here I am talking to Cooper aka Jaws.  Poor Coop is teething and he took a bite out of Grayson and Mommy so I was a little nervous how this conversation was going to go.

Mommy and Daddy took me to their favorite Dallas grocery store, Central Market, to pick up the triplets' birthday cake and all we could think about was how much Grandma Kathy would love it. She could lose a whole day in this place. I took a picture of the wall of chocolate for her.  Can you believe it? A whole section of gourmet chocolate.  Just think of all the cookies and treats you could make for us with this chocolate, Grandma Kathy!

Auntie Kelly and Uncle Andy's friend Jamie took lots of pictures of the triplet's birthday party and baptism.  She is an amazing photographer in Dallas so I will be sure to post her pictures when we get them. Here is a preview of them though:

Daddy and I got all dressed up to go to church for Grayson's, Cooper's and Claire's baptisms. Don't we look handsome?
I was so excited to be all dressed up.  Thanks Auntie Kelly for my cool shoes!

Here all us cousins are at the Rice's ranch after the baptism. We had to stay inside most of the time because of West Nile Virus but Mommy and Daddy escaped long enough to shoot some guns and get the Gator stuck in a washed out ravine.  It's a good thing Uncle Andy knew what he was doing...

The triplets' Auntie Jamie (the one who is the great photographer) also took pictures of the baptism.  Here is the link:

I shall leave you with a picture of my naughty furry brother.  He got kicked out of doggy daycare...AGAIN...during their trip to Texas.  Here he is in his new favorite spot, trying to look apologetic.  Mommy said the owner was very nice and said he could come back but they must start spending time with him each night exercising and loving on him.  I guess maybe he's been overlooked a bit because of my cuteness. Oops. Mommy and Daddy better get their acts together!  Auntie Kelly said maybe Leland belongs on www.dog-shaming.com.  I think she is right!
