My life has been all about excitement and drama lately. I love tantrums...at home, in the car, at the store...I don't discriminate. The good news for everyone is that I respond well to distractions....particularly food. Somehow, during this one, Mommy even talked me into getting back on the guac train I have been avoiding since the great stomach flu of January 2014.
Deanna Rose Farmstead
I took my first trip to Deanna Rose Farmstead and it was awesome. I was fascinated by all the animals and slides. Unfortunately for all those that I was with, the only word I said the whole time was, "Poop." Literally, two straight hours of talking about poop. Thanks, Daddy, for teaching me that fun word!
Mommy and Daddy have been busy trying to clean, pack and stage. Here I am helping to stage Daddy's office after it was tidied up. Please ignore the sharp scissors on the floor. Good job, parents, for leaving those within my reach!
I'm still bored here while all this packing is going on but at least I have this guy to give me some love and attention. Also, special shouts out to people helping Mommy and Daddy with all the work and giving me some TLC in the process. Auntie Jessica and Uncle Raleigh came to help move some heavy stuff, hauled off an ancient TV and entertained me for a bit. They are awesome! And Mimi and Pa have let me spend the past 6 Saturdays with them so Mommy and Daddy could go to house appointments. Mimi and Pa even bought me a slide and a car for their house! Now I throw a tantrum every time I have to go home. It makes Mommy and Daddy feel super awesome.
To try to top Daddy's news that he totaled his car with the baseball-sized hail from a few weeks back, I one-upped him Sunday by dropping a 20-ounce can of pineapple on my toenail from counter height. It was ugly. Dr. Wichman had to cut my toe with a razor blade to relieve the pressure and we watched gobs of blood gush out. This was me after the traumatizing appointment. I'm pretty sure Mommy felt the same way. I'm still a mess and I refuse to keep a band-aid on my toe or go anywhere near shoes and socks which has left some cleaning up to do around the house. I figure Mommy is used to doing this with Leland when he rips his toenails off so I don't feel too bad. Keep your fingers crossed they are wrong about my toenail falling off. I don't want ugly feet...it's almost sandal season!
