Seven Months

Well here I am, seven months old and still growing like a weed.  I am almost 20 pounds and 28 inches tall.  I am sitting up better and trying my darnedest to crawl.  My hair is growing in dark and most of the time looks like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket.  I am testing out the acoustics wherever I go and have recently acquired a rather bizarre laugh that Mommy is hoping will not last long because it resembles the dreaded Beavis and Butthead laugh.  I have developed separation anxiety which is super fun for both Mommy and Daddy.  I am adding to my repertoire of good eats but continue to dry heave when meat is present in any shape or form.  Mommy and Daddy say I better cut this out...they are not raising a vegetarian!

It's been rather cold here lately so Auntie Kate bought me a cool bomber hat to switch things up.  As you can see I love it...I even wear it inside when Daddy doesn't want to turn the heat up! ;0)

I went on my 5th road trip to Texas with Mommy, Mimi and Pa.  Mimi said I am a great traveler but Pa and Mommy laughed...apparently Mimi is good at blocking out sounds.  We stopped for our traditional Braum's and I couldn't wait to get my hands on that milkshake...I even could get the straw in my mouth.  But alas, I forgot, Mommy doesn't share her sweets. This is one thing Daddy tried to warn me about...

I got to spend some quality time with Auntie Kelly, Uncle Andy and Grayson, Cooper and Claire.  I still can't do a whole lot when I am with them but they were nice enough to bring me toys and swing me...true, I came home with a bruise on my face from a toy that was thrown at me but I guess the point is that they were sharing.  I can't wait till I can run around with them.  We are going to get into so much trouble!!!! This picture was when everyone descended on my toys and I was kindly asking Grayson for my girlfriend Sophie back.

While we were away, I left notes and pictures around the house for Daddy.  We also had daily Facetime chats and sent him pictures because we missed him. I even wrote him a song.  I am a killer piano player.  You can call me the Piano Man.

Mommy's cousin Ben, his wife Cindy, and their kids, the ORIGINAL Griffin and his sister Abby, sent me an awesome surprise in the mail.  I got a prayer blanket, their favorite book and this puppy.  I. Love. This. Puppy.  It's like Leland but without the stinky breath and the desire to steal all my squeaky toys.

I am looking forward to celebrating my first Valentine's Day, although I hear I will not get to partake in the cupcakes.  Until next time, I will leave you with one of Mommy's and Daddy's favorite picture of their Valentines cheesing for the camera.
