Leland has been busy initiating me into his gang of trouble. Here he is teaching this new dog his old tricks. First order of business, how to break blinds. BAM! Done. Next up, we are working on breaking and entering baby gates.
Leland has also taught me to be a connoisseur of patio leaves and mulch. Here I am right before the finger sweep where Mom jams her finger in my mouth so I don't swallow aforementioned leaves or wood chips.
Check me out. I'm chilling in my new rocking chair. It's vintage, circa Daddy's childhood. I don't like to sit in it as much as I like to cruise the house by pushing it.
I started swimming class with Mommy. I don't want to brag or anything but I am pretty good. I kick, I stick my head under the water, I do the crawl, and I do a mean hokey pokey in the pool. I have even been practicing my shark skills by biting Mommy's arms and legs.
As compensation for said bites and bruises, I decided to spoil Mom on her first official Mother's Day with two things that take her to her happy place in a house full of boys--dark chocolate covered pretzels and Scooter's coffee. Here I am with her loot, minus the card I got her because, well, I ate part of it.
And for my finale, I shall leave you with a video of my newest feat: stair climbing. Next week is my Baptism in Estes Park. Mommy and Daddy are super excited for my first Colorado trip...less excited about the 12 hour drive with a baby in tow. Please say your prayers we all make it there and back with our sanity.
